Thread Name: Lyr Req: Little Sister--Newfie?
Subject: Lyr Add: LITTLE SISTER (from Wonderful Grand Band)
Lyrics transcribed from the sound file at the CFOG site that Sorcha linked to above. (Is CFOG a radio station? The site didn't explain.) There is still a missing word or two.

LITTLE SISTER
(Jamie Snider)

Little sister, don't you cry. I'll be coming back again.
Wipe those tears from your eyes. This is not the end.
Remember all the things we said. I believe they're true.
Little sister, I'll be coming home to you.

Little sister, it's a long, long time for me to be away.
Hold on a little bit longer 'til I can come back home to stay.
Your sweet soul music's going to carry me. Your love will see me through.
Little sister, I'll be coming home to you.

BRIDGE: You're the one I'm singing for. I think about you every day.
A love so fine I want to let it shine, not tarnish or fade away.
Driving down the highway, walking through a meadow of green,
Little sister, you are everything I see.

And when the blossoms are on the trees and the neighborhood is full
Like a lover walking in the night and listening to the radio,
I'll walk up to your door and take you by the hand.
Little sister, we will walk together again.
And I will take you by the hand.
Little sister, we will walk together again.
Oh, I will take you by the hand.
Little sister, we will walk together again.

[As sung by the Wonderful Grand Band on "Living in a Fog," Grand East Records, 1981.]
