I think your suggestion just evens out the last line, John. What I want is something that doesn't look like this:

Mary had a little lamb Whose
fleece was white as snow And
everywhere that Mary went The
lamb was sure to go. He follow
ed her to school one day Which
was against the rules. And all
the children laughed and played
To see a lamb in school.

They should be able to do better than that.
