I endured that for 12 years and it really stopped me from progressing as a musician - she managed to make me feel guilty any time I wanted to go to a session and festivals - one day a year at Whitby and one day at Beverley. Glad that's behind me now. But on the down side I miss the company (when not at sessions) and nights are lonely times.
