Beverley is in East Yorkshire about 12 miles from the sea and 8 miles from Hull and the River Humber. In fact Beverley used to be a centre for trawler building - they were launched sideways into the River Hull and thence to the sea.

The Sun Inn is right next to Beverley Minster - a very big church which can be seen for miles around - and we are there on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons(see multiplicity of threads about session sin Hull and Beverley).
