I was about to say there must be more underlying this than not likeing folk music and your next post said it all. Some people are just happy being anti.
My solution was exit. The gauling thing was my fidelity over 10 years was almost a wasted effort - it was assumed I was availing myself of the opportunities - despite a lack evidence.
If making music is making you fullfilled does hubby have to be involved? Is it your sadness at not having him involved, his or both of you? Is the word "trust" looming here?
