Oh man are these friggin' things uncomfortable!

After resisting for a number of years I finally got two artificial nails put on an hour ago. Jeri (who got hers a little while ago) scared the bejesus out of me by telling me to make sure that the nail-lady wasn't a "hole driller"(!!) So I asked her if she employed that method and she gave me the kind of look that said "You ARE a virgin, aren't you"? She assured me that the only nail applicators who did that were sadists.....and I'd come to the right place.

Not bad really.....10 bucks for two. Hopefully to replace my thirty five year 'pick habit', 'cause the picks today feel funny....not at all like the old Nationals that I loved.

Oh well, I'll see. My first gig is a concert Saturday night in Barrie Ontario, and if I can't get used to them I'll just file 'em off.

Anybody else using these things?
