Nice question Sharyn. I am singing a lot of scottish songs, and it has occurred to me that I might be committing some kind of blasphemy... which I certainly am; when I try to hard to 'sound' authentic... The tunes are beautiful though, and the words are often spelled phonetically, which seems to shape my enunciation a bit. I find that many of the auld Scottish songs are mikkle to my liking! ttr
