Let me add my endorsement to Camp Harmony. Rika and I went down with our two kids when they were 6 & 4, and had a ball: we didn't see them for the whole weekend! (Funny what memory does). We took the train down from Vancouver BC because there was a special on. Stayed with Dick & Carol Hodstock, Pat Thompson and Tony Latimer and a bunch of other wonderful folk. Those were the days however when the Canadian dollar was worth a damn sight more than 63c: it's a little out of our reach now, though one of the best New Year's we've spent anywhere.
