Mudlark wanted the chords to this song (which is a great one for Veterans' Day), so here is how I play it. I'm sure my chords are simpler than the ones the big bands used, but these work for me.Notes on my notation:
Em7 = 022030 (or 022033)
A9 = 043000
The G-->F#-->F-->E7 sequence is a moveable barre chord sequence
a, b, c, d# (which is probably e flat, but I didn't have enough space), and c are notes, not chords. I just do a little melody run in those last two lines, around the Fm and G chords.Also, on my screen, I have printed a down arrow in lines 1, 9, and 12, for a walkdown, but I'm not sure it will come out that way in the thread.
