Bobert - The SS# thing is for real. Our whole school class was assigned social security numbers when we were in the eight grade. They were issued in alphabetical order. My buddy Doug's name came immediately after mine so he got the next number. It just happened that we stayed close friends for years, grew up and married sisters, though neither of us are married to them any more.
