Whe searching for Irish tunes in the Digitrad, it is useful to adopt a Buzz Hawkins trick (for singing his own composition, "Father Finacupane"), and type while winking one eye, with the head cocked over to one side.
The official chords as I have them are:
G D Come single belle and beau, to me now pay attention G C D7 And love, I'll plainly show, is the divil's own invention. G Bm G7 For once I fell in love with a damsel most bewitchin' C E7 Am A7 D Miss Henrietta Bell, down in Captain Kelly's kitchen
cho: G D To my toora loora la, my toora loora laddy G D Ri toora loora la, ri toora loora laddy.
However, I think this is a bit demanding for guitar players of my modest attainments; my usual chord progression for the last line of the verse goes, C, dull thud, Em, muttered curse, Am, A7, D. I prefer to play it as:
G Bm For once I fell in love with a damsel most bewitchin' C Am A7 D Miss Henrietta Bell, down in Captain Kelly's kitchen
