There used to be a show on the local NPR radio station called "Spider's Web" which read children's books. I remember listening to it on rainy afternoons during my work-study job in college.
Anyway it had a theme song which sounded for all the world like it was sung by Tom Chapin. It went something like this (through 20 years of faltering memory):
It's a web like a spider's web Made of [?] and knotted shadows Spun by the moon in my room each night It's a web made to catch a dream Hold it tight till I awaken As if to tell me dreaming's all right.
Anybody else remember? Was that really Tom Chapin? Or just somebody who sounds like Tom Chapin?
