I can remember when the (now defunct) Farningham Folk Club used to put on a panto every year. One year we performed our version of Cinderella with Anne (of Dangerous Curves) in the title role and Barry & Blossom of Skinner's Rats as the Ugly Sisters (I was Buttons).
Strangely enough Blossom has quite small feet and could easily get the golden slipper on - and kept threatening to end the performance by declaring "It Fits !". Ian Petrie (who tends to bring the term "Brick S***house" to mind) was the Fairy Godmother and we sang a shanty while a whole gang of "Stagehands" hauled on a rope pretending to try and "Fly" him.

Oh Yes we did....
