1. I once hung from the railing over Ausable Chasm in NY. My mother freaked and I couldn't understand why.

2. I remember the Christmas my parents didn't have enough money for presents and brought home a ton of cardboard boxes. I'm not sure how old I was, but I was a toddler. I remember being in the hospital after I chopped the last section of my left index finger off, shortly before my 3rd birthday.

3. I once told my best friend that my parents had adopted me and I'd previously been living in the jungle with Tarzan. She believed me for about a year.

4. I wrote this in 3rd grade:
Ship ahoy! Ship ahoy!
Man the deck and find the buoy
Fish in the ocean, fish in the sea
Fish in the pet store
Come home with me

5. I did so horribly in gradeschool that they gave me psych (including IQ) tests.

6. Also in gradeschool, I was the kid all the other kids picked on. I had really bad buck teeth and was called "monkey girl" (along with the noises) and a few other things. I guess that's where I picked up the habit of making fun of myself as a self defense mechanism - I did it first and tried to prove it didn't bother me.

7. During my senior year in high school I used to skip the 70's touchy-feely sail-through class to go to honors English.

8. I've been a passenger on a C-130, C-141 and C-5 (military airplanes) and helicopters. Longest non-stop flight was 11 hours.

9. I used to do moulage - putting fake wounds on people for medical response excercises. I used to be really popular aroun halloween.

Maybe I'll think of another one. I'm basically pretty boring.
