Initial growing has never been the problem - it takes about a week to look and feel OK and it hardly ever itches. This is why I gave up shaving in the first place - twice a day if I needed to look respectable in the evening, with sensitive skin (let's hear it...aaaaah!). That and it's just not natural.

What was the TV programme - years ago - in which one of the characters used to spell out S - E - ...and then draw an X in the air with his ?(her) finger instead of saying it? That was what my feeble attampt at satire was attempting (inaccurately and unsuccessfully) to emulate.
