There's a helluva lot going on in this country and the world in general that never makes the news. And not because it isn't newsworthy. An informed electorate could be a dangerous thing.

Farewell, Freedom of the Press. This story is a few months old, but it gives a fair idea of what's going on. And things have not improved much lately.
