This is a really great album by a fascinating woman there is actually a book written about this woman, although I believe it is in Irish. A caution- these recordings were not archived well and they were actually recorded over other recordings so there are impurities. Many of these songs such as TUIRSE MO CHROÍ, AN SPEALADÓIR, and NANSAÍ ÓG NÍ ÓBARLÁIN have been covered by Altan and Susan McKeown.
