No offense to anyone who likes it, but to my mind the dreariest song just about in the world is Oh come oh come Emanual...it hurts my ears to remember it even...well, for those who don't know it is sung when lighting the Advent wreath, which is otherwise a beautiful custom.

There are some specifically Advent songs..Drop ye dew oh gracious heavens let the clouds rain down the just..that is a nice one..mg
