well please send him to the Tipperary Inn on Fri Nov 22. It is a short drive from Plano (20 minutes) and a modest cab fare. The Tipp is one of Dallas's best pubs ... and I'll be playing there, maybe with a friend or two. All the details are available at the link above. There are also a couple of sessions at the Tip he may find enjoyable; Sunday afternoons they do a Texas sort of folk song jam session (I believe they get going about 3PM) and on Wed evenings they do a Celtic session (about 8PM 'til late).
