The info above on the lyricist/composer I got is from The Great Song Thesaurus (Oxford, p. 343), but according to R. Gottleb & R. Kimbnall's Reading Lyrics (Pantheon, p. 68) Clifford Grey wrote the words and Vivian Ellis the music. ~Masato
