I have mentioned Murphy Henry on other threads. She has a series of video tapes aimed at beginners. She started out with 5 string banjo tapes and the demand was so great that she has expdanded her offerings to include Guitar, Fiddle, Bass, Mandolin and some variations on these instruments. I learned to play the five string with these tapes and would highly recommend her method. You will be playing music in no time.
