Chris, I imagine most of us feel similarly. Not talking about royalties, of course, if folks aren't using the songs commercially, but it would be great to know where our songs are being sung and by whom. Emails or PMs about it would be great!

Which brings me to a point of dismay that I suddenly realized. When I gave Amos the original liner notes for my CD, from which the "One, Out Of Many" song was taken, I included my full name and copyright dates on all my songs.
I don't know how I missed this, but on the Mudcat CD, it just says "Genie" (a name I never used before Mudcat and by which hardly any non'Catters know me) with the song being credited to "J. Pratt."
This means if the CD ends up in the hands of someone outside mudcat who knows me, they'll have no idea that I'm the singer or the songwriter!

I think I let it slip initially because I thought we were SUPPOSED TO use our Mudcat names.

Since I have not seen the liner notes, I'm not sure if they will remedy that problem. (But liner notes don't always get read, either.)

Oh, well.

If there's a second run of these CD's, can my name on the CD be changed to "Genie (Jeanene Pratt")?
