more re Connie's songs:
"A Mhuire 's a Rí" can indeed be found in M Ó Baoill, "Ceolta Gael 2" and in "Traditional Songs of the North of Ireland", compiled by Liam Ó Conchubhair & Derek Bell (Dublin: Wolfhound Press, 1999) which also contains some other songs which are on Connie's CD: Ba Loinnireach Grian an Tráthnóna and Méilte Cheann Dubhrann. Seachrán Charn tSíail is published as "Ar Tharraignt Siar go Carn tSíail Domh" and "The Rake of Carnteel" , but apart from the first verse, the words are different from those Conall sings, as is also the case with the version in Ó Baoill and recorded by Albert Fry which I posted on an appropriate thread.
Unfortunately, the table of contents in "Traditional Songs of the North of Ireland" gives only English language versions of song-titles ... "Sandhills of Khandooran" looks more to me like a title for a song set in Arab lands than one set in Donegal!

"Is Fada Liom Uaim Í" is also published in M Ó Baoill, "Ceolta Gael 2" (Cork: Mercier Press, 1986)It has been recorded by both Maighréad Ní Dhomhnaill and Caitlín Ní Dhomhnaill.
