11. I went to the same school as David Bellamy, the naturalist with the strange voice, who lived around the corner from me in Cheam.
12. I was born on the same date as the Battle of Waterloo, tho' considerably later, and my brother was born on same date as the Battle of Hastings, even more later.
13. I share a birthday with Paul McCartney, and my brother has the same date as Cliff Richard.
14. Was Northern Busking champion with Sir Roger de Beverley, in a group called Sticky Wicket, (or Sticky Wickey as the local rag once called us) several times. (sounds grander than it really was).
15. Was arrested for Busking (well actually - Causing an Obstruction) outside Marks & Spencers in Wakefield. The police let me offt tho'. (my best mate and drinkin' buddy was Station Sergeant at the Police Station)!!!
16. Have two cats, Buddy (after Holly), and Kipper after the fish.
17. Spend most the summer weekends dossing about in Whitby, and playing in Tap & spile Sunday sessions.
18. Probably hold a World record for breaking strings(and infecting those playing with me with the same virus)> ask Sir Roger!!!
19. Jingle , my wife, learnt to play autoharp whilst I was on the late shift. Without me knowing.
20. My favourite film is David Lean's Great Expectations, followed closely by Oh Brother,Where Art Thou?
