It is important that we drive standards up; if we do not we will lose the tourists, including the most important tranche. I am thinking especially of the Americans. We must get them back, and we must keep them.

Is tranche a Welsh word?

On a more serious note. The statement does demonstrate that the Government will take most seriously, any concerns from overseas tourists, especially US ones.
