The lyrics are truly chunderous aren't they? In fact the more I look through them the more I see the potential of the song as a hammed up equivalent of Tell Laura I Love Her or Teen Angel. A happy ending is just not appropriate for this song however. Tommy needs to die of throat cancer and/or syphillis. Mary Jane could either dance on his grave - or throw herself into it..
