Each year I attempt an almost impossible quiz. (in 26 years the compiler has only twice received fully correct entries!) This year I am doing much better, and am stuck on only parts of 2 questions. Help with nos. 9 & 12 would be appreciated. no.8 is included as it is 'on topic'.
