Thread Name: Tablature notational software
Subject: RE: Tablature notational software
Thanks for your response, John. It may be that Tabledit is the way to go. What I need specifically is a tablature that looks good in printed form for publishing and can be reproduced in a larger scale for easier reading. I really don't need the standard musical notation feature but it's important the the tab generates the rhythmic symbols. TabRite was not mentioned in the discussion. Maybe it's too low end? The Finale package doesn't seem specific enough for my needs. None of them mention generating tab without accompanying music notation but I guess that this would be a usual feature of Tabledit.

In short, what I need is just a tablature program with rhythm symbols that is user-friendly and can be reproduced in a larger scale....say anywhere from 175% to 200%.

Any responses welcome.

Thanks,

Frank
