Hi. I'm writing a song from the point of view of someone from the Isle of Wight, and I want to know what someone from one of the small islands would call the rest of England. I'm tempted to call it "the mainland" but that seems a little strange for what is also a small island.

Does anyone know what Isle of Wighters call the "mainland"?
