I well remember your Hull gigs, Burl. And there's still a few of us who remember Jock's singing.

As for the folk revival, Hull and District (inc North Lincs) seems to be having a mini-revival of its own at the moment. There's a new club started at the Bull on Beverley Road (Thurs) and more sessions than you can shake a stick at. And the People's Voice Festival in Beverley this year was a wonderful example of what can happen when a few right-minded individuals get together - a completely free festival, with concerts, dance, sessions, workshops, dance teams, pub gigs, singarounds, the lot.
