oh gawd Rick.........What a flashback that was! I think I need to go lie down.............And on a tangenital issue, there was Dolly on TV with Porter showing you them lovely towels you could get in boxes of Breeze detergent.

Jeri hasn't seen any of these???? Linn, you gotta' help the girl out here. This stuff is right down her alley! In the Guest/Levy films one of the finest parts is the attention to detail in backgrounds. I watch more set stuff now just to get the full benefit of how far they will go to make it real. In Guffman there are these little touches like the trumpet player playing tympani at the same time. At first glance, it's just kinda' funny but what really makes it a riot is that anuone who has ever gone to a small town "Community Players" production knows that is EXACTLY what goes on.

I am so locked into this stuff now that I have watched three other Parker Posey movies just to see what she's like in different and more traditional settings. It's also fun to catch some of these people in other films as well......I damn near fell off the couch a few weeks ago when I was reading while watching "A Few Good Men"...and realized the Doctor on the stand was Guest!   And if you missed John Michael Higgins as David Letterman in "The Late Show," it's well worth the watch.
