When I was in Ireland last year, I learned that all good songs began in Ireland. When I visited England THIS year, I learned that all those Irish songs actually got their start in England.

Actually, I guess there is some truth to both. I understand that some songs in the "original" Irish are translations of songs first written in England, in the English language.
