Watched Canadian Bacon twice. It didn't knock me out as a cohesive film, but I loved the cameos, and a number of the scenes. I suspect if I'd first seen it when it was made I'd have like the film as a whole better. Trying to satirize Dr, Strangelove (which in iteslf was a brilliant satire) may not have been a great move. Read a short (reasonably current) blurb by Moore where he kind of agrees with that. Stephen Wright saying "welcome to Canada" after being attacked is hilarious,......eh?
