I've had a tape through from Alan Bell with the first Folk On Sunday programme from Nelson - great to listen to! He's also sent me a list of the programme titles that went out under the BotNW. He has more info as well.
I'm trying to get hold of Douglas Boyd who produced the show for his memories of it.

I've sent my email to Mike Shaft and I'll put something about the proposed folk programme on the Folk North West site and also in the next edition of the magazine (which won't be out until March now)
