well, I am in the DC area, and I have 5" as I type.....but....I went shopping and stocked the larder on Tuesday!...*happy grin*...(and I come from Kansas, and I CAN drive in snow..(though, to be fair to DC folks, what we get here is often a coating of a couple inches at 31º, making it nasty driving for anyone)...today, however, it was cold and we have just had powder, so this is not bad at all.

We have bird feeders, and just put out some suet for the woodpeckers, sunflower seeds for chickadees and titmice, and LOTS of thistle for the hoards of Goldfinches that show up when it snows...So...sitting in front of the live 80" TV set..(picture window) and watching the show.....it oughta be a quiet day
