I know of a similar story years ago, down in Santa Cruz, CA.
A man was walking down the mall handing all the street people 100.00 dollar bills. I didn't get a chance to meet this man but a friend did, so a bunch of us enjoyed the gift with food and wine.
When your busted and broke, and hurtin' for certain, gifts like that are a cherished memory and a good time was had by all!
