No plagues of locusts, parting of the seas or wailing and gnashing of teeth, either. In 1994, I was visiting London and it was snowing, while the London papers were carrying screaming headlines about bushfires in Sydney, something along the lines of "Fire races towards city as thousands flee to beaches". It was a bad fire, but not as bad as we are getting now. We do love our weather, don't we! Gives you something to talk about -(as if there wasn't anything else)
