Well...we didn't have a tree for a few years, either, because it felt like i was the only one who cared. Today, Rog and I went to a tree farm and brought home a very humble, crooked Charlie Brown-type Scotch pine and put the lights on it, at least, and I am glad we did. It feels good and right, for now.
I agree on not buying into the hype or stressing over getting cards out etc. This year I did a quick letter and was surprised at how small my card list has become. I couldn't handle getting any out over the past few years, so again, it felt good this year to do so. Not saying everyone should, though.
smallpiper, by that logic why should we do anything which is meaningful? You're right...it doesn't sound like you!*bg* Hope you are better now!
