Unless I've missed it, nobody has mentioned French's most famous song, The Mountains of Mourne. There is a book currently in print with words and music to over 40 of his songs - I think it cost me a fiver or so a couple of years ago. (Ossian publications, ISBN 1 900428 25 3, edited by James N.
