Re-reading Mary's posts, Amos, it looks like she successfully recorded and saved files--which means that the program is working fine, so there probably is no conflict with the OS and there is enough memory to run it, as well---

Tell us what programs you had up, and which one you were running when you had your problems--My guess (as I said above) is that the problems weren't related to the Sound Studio, but that the e-mail program hung or froze because she was trying to e-mail an AIFF file--
