It's an interesting question, but I'm afraid I don't know the answer. There's quite a lot of information on the origins of Friday the 13th but you may know that stuff already.

I've found a number of sites that refer to 'Tuesday the 13th' as being a superstition in Mexico, but none that explain why.

I'd be interested to know too. Sadly, most of the knowledgable posters to this site have left. The 'fun' just got too much...
