You know, this thread reminds me why I love this place so. It is because Alice is one of the very best people that come here. When I think back of the trials, tribulations, and feelings that have been shared here over the years, I think of Alice and smile. I cannot think of a single time that she has failed to share her remarkable knowledge of the music, her talents, her warmth, even the recounting of the struggles of a single parent bringing her young man, Ryan, up to be a quite remarkable person. Alice, your recounting of his singing to you in German does not surprise me in the least. In a strange cyber way, I feel as though I have watched him come along. Your passing of your values on to him will serve him well, my friend.
I am grateful for another year enjoying your cyber company, and I wish us all many more. Your are a treasure, dear Alice. Everyone here knows it, and I hope you do too.
