Doug, Doug...what rock have you been hiding under? :-) Bob Dylan is simply the most crucial thing to happen in popular music in the last hundred years. He is to songwriters what Shakespeare is to playwrights. Get a grip, Doug! It didn't all end with Burl Ives (though he was quite likeable in his own way).

Nice picture, Carol. Playing with the glorious Rick Fielding is a treat I always appreciate to the fullest!

Amos - It's one way of saying it, to say it's "inside" (and it is). I could also say it's everywhere (it is). Let me put it another way: I Am That I Am

And so are You! "I am you and you are me and we are we and we are all together...."

Pretty neat, eh?

I like Shatner, cos he's a fairly ordinary schmuck in a sense, with a rather good sense of humour, and he happened to become famous anyway. He reminds me of myself in some ways. I see myself in him. I am still trying to see myself in R. Crumb, and that's not nearly so easy, but well...he's not completely without redeeming features.
