Subject: RE: BS: Empty nest during holidays
Thanks, everyone, very much appreciated. We will spend part of the day with my sisters which will be nice. Then tomorrow evening I will drive them around to look at the lights, as one of them is too blind to drive and the other is not comfortable driving in the dark.

I know of others whom we could visit, play music for, etc. all of which is very valid and wonderful, I am not saying it isn't. This is just a very specific longing for my kids. They've all turned out to be really wonderful people and I just miss them more at certain times than others, or I think about it more. Which may be my only real problem; the acupuncturist says I think too much!**BG**

And, then bet went North to Alaska and left her dog to spend Christmas with us and his "cuzzin" Merlee! Whoo-hoo! They do look cute though with matching santa bandanas and her dog is a sweet old fellah.

Maybe Rog has the right idea, like that old Merl Haggard song, if I can figure out how to acclimate the cats to travel...

Lately I've been getting that urge to roam
Gonna go out and by myself a motorhome
Say goodbye to my pinochle club and my job at Sears
Forget about security, (something, something)
This life I lead is far worse than my fears.

Oh travelling with you would be like heaven
We could even make love in the parking lot of any 7-11
Oh baby can't you see, just you and me
Let's sell the house and let the good times roll.

Oh you can play bass?...(can't remember the rest)

but, anyway, Rog keeps teasing me about doing this, then we could drive all over on a great Mudcat adventure seeing kids and all of you!

You all are wonderful family!! Thanks,
