My son is among the missing again. But I am OK. Put up a tree and decorated it - almost. Couldn't find the hooks so it has lights and garlands and a few clip on decorations and the wrappings from some gifts. Quite pretty, really.

Then I opened my gifts - lots of them. My Secret Santa went all out. WOW. As did a few relatives.

I feel strangely contented in my new home. Warm and safe. The nest is empty but my heart is full.
