Well I know a variant of it -- two Irish police climb up to an apartment in the city and knock on the door and ask the woman who answers, "Be ye the widow Murphy?". She replies, "I be Mrs Murphy, but I be no widow." To which the cops says, "Ah, just wait til ye see what they're bringing up the stairs!".
