The east coast is Mudcat time, then somewhere around the middle of the country it is an hour earlier than that, in the Rocky Mtns we are 2 hours earlier than Mudcat, then the west coast another hour and on from there.

I can get the death certificate number for you and ancestry.com, if you decide you want to get a copy of the actual certificate. It would give you a bit more info, but not necessarily what happened to him in later life, except where and when he died, which you already know if this is the correct one, and, it might show a spouse, which could be helpful. There are places on line where you can order a copy for a fee. I'd think this would be low on the possibilities of being helpful, though.:-)
