Kat, we already know the spouse was Sharon, if one of the three folks in St Louis can confirm Joan's middle name that would clinch it. Also if any of them could recall what their dad did in the service and if they knew of any nicknames he might have gone by would also be helpful. Assuming of course that this is the right Gardner, although the age and DOB are too much of a coincidence I think. We shall see when RC makes contact with the St. Louis crowd. All we can do now is sit and anxiously await!!
