A few years ago my PC died and I was happy without it for several months. Summertime and all.

This year I finally got a laptop cause I'm in school. Now it goes with me everywhere. Which is semi-convenient. I'm always looking for a phone jack (or ethernet jack) to plug it into.   But I'm happiest when doing stuff outdoors without reference to a screen.

Cutting back is probably harder than quitting, but it's a good thing to know what balance is best for you. Simply, though, you gotta have something to replace it with.

However LH I think you are a skilful debater with generally well-informed, nuanced viewpoints. It's not a waste of time for those of us who get to read your postings.
