My band is "Unsafe At Any Speed." We say "That's our name -- not just an observation." We claim never to have played any song the same way twice.

Friends of ours are in a male duet called "Bent Harpoon". They're completely nuts, but they're very good. One of them also performs solo as "Dr. WhizzBang".

We also know a group of four women called "No Windows". They don't do windows and they don't do floors, but they do sing extremely well.

Another friend who is a PBS listener says his dream band name would be "All Strings Considered", but he made me promise never to use it. I may be violating his trust by mentioning it, so please don't take it.
